OUTDOOR ADVENTURE (dress appropriately) What if the journey to nature was just as important as the destination? This interactive workshop invites educators and policymakers to compare how play, learning, and wellbeing evolve as we transition through different environments. Replicating real-world experiences of early learning centres and schools navigating urban landscapes, participants will move from the indoor conference space, through hallways and built structures, to the Yarra Foreshore. Using sensory awareness activities, we will explore how play emerges in response to place. This session offers innovative strategies to integrate play-based, place-responsive learning into policy and practice, fostering deeper engagement and wellbeing.
