Biography
Lynette (she/ her) is an experienced STEM educator and teacher, engaging adults and children across all ages for over two decades. Holding qualifications in teaching, early childhood education, and science, she prides herself on ensuring education is fun and accessible to everyone- including the very young, and young at heart. Lynette has worked at Museums Victoria for the past 3 years, leading STEM Professional Learning in the Early Childhood sector.

Biography
Kun Liang (he/him) leads communications and advocacy at Playeum, an independent charity in Singapore dedicated to championing every child’s right to play and participate. With formal training in early childhood education, communications, and journalism, Kun Liang brings together pedagogical insight and creative curiosity to shape Playeum’s voice and vision.
At the heart of Kun Liang’s work is a belief that stories can shift perspectives. He weaves narratives, sparks conversations, and cultivates cross-sector partnerships that drive awareness and inspire change. Playeum recently launched “Are We Brave Enough to Let Our Children Play?” —a white paper co-published with the Singapore University of Social Sciences and Samantha Tan, calling for a bold reimagining of how society views children’s learning and development.
Beyond Playeum, Kun Liang founded Project Five Fingers, a creative collective that empowers and gives voice to children through puppetry and play, while nurturing an appreciation for the Chinese language and culture. For over a decade, he was also a contributing writer at Lianhe Zaobao, Singapore’s largest Chinese-language newspaper, where he covered youth, community, and the arts.
Through his journey, Kun Liang strives to build a world where play, the arts, and creativity are woven into the everyday — not just for children, but as essentials for a thriving society.

Biography
Cat is the Artistic Director and Co-CEO of Polyglot Theatre, a world renowned contemporary theatre company that makes playful, participatory works for children and families.
Over the last 20 years, Cat has worked at the intersection of the arts, health and education fields, with play and creativity at the core of her practice.
Cat is most interested in theatre and creative works where people can DO – they can explore and touch and jump and wonder within the works. She is a passionate advocate of the potential of play and creativity to boost health, development and wellbeing. She loves to collaborate to make works, both with artists and children and families.
Cat has extensive experience in participatory theatre, working as a director, play specialist, facilitator and educator, and as co-creative director of The Ball Room Projects. She has led award-winning projects in a range of contexts including health and child development, community collaboration, public design, education, and local government.
