Biography
Kath Thom is the CEO of Peninsula Leisure, a Local Government Business Enterprise company of Frankston City Council. This agile model of management allows for a single focus toward their vision of ‘Improving lives by inspiring activity and connection’.
Peninsula Leisure manages the big box aquatic and recreation facility, PARC, in Frankston, the outdoor seasonal pool in Frankston North, Pines Forest Aquatic Centre, and the much-loved Frankston Skatepark.
Kath and her talented team have also committed to tackling more, with a specific mission that ‘Every Child in Frankston Can Swim’, aiming to support a reduction in drowning incidents on the Peninsula. And most recently the companion goal for the city that ‘More People are More Active, More Often’.
