Biography
Huei Chern joined Sport Singapore in 2012 and has since played a critical role in shaping and driving the organization’s strategic direction. With a background in corporate planning, data transformation, technology, and integrated communications, she has led key initiatives in aligning strategic business objectives with whole-of-government outcomes.
As Chief of the Strategy Group, Huei Chern leads efforts to create collaborative systems that drive a unified vision for sport in Singapore. She is responsible for ensuring cross-functional alignment, resource allocation, and data-driven decision-making to support the “Sport As Strategy” agenda under Vision 2030. Her leadership fosters cooperation across different stakeholders, helping to develop a holistic and sustainable sport ecosystem.
With over 25 years of experience in the private and public service sectors, Huei Chern is committed to advancing a whole-of-system approach, driving impactful change that contributes to Singapore’s long-term sport vision and success.

Biography
Jon grew up in Devon, England and moved to Aotearoa in 2004. He has a background in central government policy roles and spent almost 15 years working at the Ministry of Social Development and Ministry for Business, Innovation and Employment. He joined Sport NZ in early 2020 where his role includes working closely with other government agencies to promote a coordinated approach to promoting physical activity across government. Jon lives in Te Whanganui a Tara (Wellington) with his wife and three kids. Jon is a long-suffering Spurs and England fan and follows many sports. He keeps himself active with trail running and sporadic rounds of golf when time and family life permit.

Biography
Naomi is the architect of Sport England’s 10-year strategy to transform lives and communities through sport and physical activity. At the heart of the strategy is a vision of a nation that’s alive with physical activity, where people are connected to each other and the places they live through sport and movement.
Before Sport England, Naomi was a consultant specialising in the design and delivery of change strategies. She worked with clients such as the NHS, Pfizer, Cancer Research UK, Lawn Tennis Association, and Unilever to help individuals, communities and organisations to make change happen.
