Biography

Adam is a senior sports executive with extensive experience across community participation, high performance, and major events. Adam is currently the General Manager of Growth and Development at Australian Athletics where he is responsible for leading the growth of athletics participation in Australia. Adam has also held roles as the High Performance Director of Australian Athletics and as the CEO of Athletics South Australia. Since 2023, Adam has been a Member of the World Athletics Development Commission which provides advice and support to World Athletics to grow and further develop athletics globally. Adam holds a Masters degree in Sports Administration, a Bachelor of Education, and is a graduate Fellow of the renowned Governor's Leadership Foundation program.

Biography

Megan is the Executive Officer of Valley Sport, a Regional Sports Assembly dedicated to helping grassroots clubs grow and thrive. In this role, she leads the organisation’s efforts to support community sporting clubs, ensuring they have the resources, guidance, and strategies needed to build strong, inclusive, and sustainable environments. Megan is also a member of the Australian Sports Commission’s Sport Volunteer Coalition, the Vice President of Shepparton Golf Club, and a member of the Women's Advisory Group for AFL Goulburn Murray. With more than 21 years of experience in the sport and recreation industry, Megan has played a pivotal role in driving gender equality, strategic leadership, and advocacy for community sport. She successfully led the rollout of the R&A Women in Golf Charter across Australia for Golf Australia, demonstrating her commitment to creating more inclusive sporting environments. Passionate about the power of sport to foster social connectedness, she believes volunteers are the lifeblood of communities. Megan is dedicated to ensuring they have the support they need to thrive, recognising that without them, sport wouldn’t exist.

Biography

Shaun is a seasoned sport management professional with over 15 years of experience across national sporting organisations, government, and community sport. He is currently the National Lead – Sport Development at Squash Australia, overseeing participation, education, digital experience, and inclusion initiatives that support growth from grassroots to performance pathways. He also serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Water Polo NSW, providing strategic and governance expertise to help ensure the sport’s long-term sustainability and accessibility. Shaun was recently a member of the Project Steering Group for the Play Well National Sport Participation Strategy, which aims to create inclusive, welcoming environments where people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities can enjoy the benefits of sport. With a strong track record in strategy, leadership, and stakeholder engagement, Shaun is committed to building inclusive, future-focused sporting systems and communities.
