Biography

Andrew Walton, raised in Mooroopna by his Australian and Italian parents, worked at J Furphy and Sons before moving to Melbourne in 1987 and working in the steel industry. After six years at Visy, inspired by the 1999 Cricket World Cup, he co-founded ResultsVault Cricket, a pioneering web-based sports management service that evolved into InteractSport and partnered with Cricket Australia as MyCricket and PlayCricket. A Level 3 cricket coach with Premier Grade experience and a Cricket Victoria 200 Club member, he coaches in Bangalore and Edinburgh. Married to Carolyn with four sons (all Richmond Tigers fans), interests include reading, cooking, and heavy metal/punk rock music. Currently works at Disability Sport and Recreation, STWS, Scotch College as Director of Cricket Coaches.
