Biography
Assmaah is the Chief Operating Officer at Creating Chances, a social enterprise empowering young people across Australia and the Asia-Pacific through sport for social change, education, and employment. With over 15 years of experience in youth development and community engagement, she leads operational strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and the delivery of inclusive, scalable programs.
Passionate about social innovation and equity, Assmaah has contributed to national and global initiatives, including Play Well: Australia’s First Sport Participation Strategy and international efforts in youth development, sports diplomacy, and women’s leadership through DFAT, Common Goal, and the Commonwealth Secretariat.
Assmaah holds an MBA in Social Impact from UNSW, focused on sustainable change and leadership in community-based, youth-centred programs.

Shawn is the Director of SportCares, the philanthropic arm of Sport Singapore, where he leads efforts to harness the power of sport to uplift lives and build more inclusive communities. With over 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector, Shawn has dedicated his career to serving vulnerable groups and driving social impact through innovative, community-based initiatives. As a former athlete himself, he believes deeply in the power of sport to change lives. His leadership is grounded in compassion, purpose, and a strong belief in the potential of every individual. Shawn recognises that social issues are complex and believes in a many helping hands approach—working collectively across sectors to better serve and support the vulnerable in our community.

Biography
Nick has spent a lifetime in education, sport and school sport. As the founder of the Sports Excellence Scholarship Fund, Nick has enabled hundreds of students to represent their state or country who would otherwise not have been able to.
Nick spent 10 years as strategic manager of School Sport Victoria and has held numerous directorships in education and sport.
