Dave is Sport NZ’s Head of Strategic Foresight responsible for helping the sector to be ready and resilient to future change. He is an award winning and published futurist, with qualifications from the Houston University, Metafutures Business School and the School of International Futures. This adds to an earlier Victoria University degree in business and Masters in recreation and leisure. A long-serving member of Sport NZ, Dave has had leadership roles across events, investment, policy, relationship management and sector capability, and was advisor to the Minister for sport for a couple of years. Dave has played football for NZ Universities and has represented Wellington at age-group level in cricket and tennis.
