Previously known as ACHPER Victoria, we build on our strong foundations, knowledge and experience to connect and link educators, school leaders, curriculum authorities, sports and governments nationwide in the goal of supporting every young person to connect, contribute and thrive. Our everyday is connecting schools, sport, government and universities to champion lifelong physical activity and wellbeing. Clare Walker is the General Manager of Game Development at Softball Australia, leading national strategies to grow participation, strengthen pathways, and create inclusive sport environments. She brings extensive experience across the sport and active recreation sector, including senior leadership roles at Badminton Australia and service on the AFL Victoria Board. Clare previously worked at Fernwood Fitness as National Programs Manager and draws on an early career as a Physical Education teacher, shaping her commitment to quality movement experiences for young people. With a long history of involvement in community sport across multiple roles, she combines professional expertise and lived experience to build stronger links between sport and education. Clare focuses on creating positive, engaging opportunities that help young people stay active and connected.
