Transforming Sport - Global to Local Innovations

Biography

Peter Sprenger founded Techonomy in 2014 with the aim of supporting the digital transformation of sports organizations. Today, Techonomy has grown into a team of 80 professionals working from offices in the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Australia. In addition to deep expertise in digital marketing, advanced data capabilities have become an important driver of growth within the sports industry. Techonomy has successfully developed global business cases based on this expertise and works exclusively with a select group of internationally oriented partners. Peter is a lecturer at the Johan Cruyff Institute and the Sports Leadership Program. Prior to founding Techonomy, he established Unicem Media in 2006, which became part of the Infostrada Sports Group in 2013. Infostrada Sports is now part of Gracenote. For more than ten years, Peter has served as President of the Dutch Volleyball Federation. He is also closely involved in international strategy as President of the Game Technology & Innovation Commission of the FIVB. Peter lives with his family in Nijmegen, in the eastern part of the Netherlands.
