Biography

Currently Director, Stakeholder Engagement and Communications, Office of Olympic and Paralympic Games, Stephanie has over 25 years of experience as a major events presenter, sport producer, commentator and MC. She also has wide experience beyond the sporting domain, regularly facilitating conferences and moderating panels in the fields of education, technology advancement and corporate product rollouts. Stephanie is immediate past Chair of DFAT’s Sports Diplomacy Advisory Council and Deputy Chair of the Football NSW board, and is currently a director on the Venues NSW, Volleyball NSW and Stadium Australia Club Boards. She is Deputy Chair of the Carbine Club of NSW and sits on the organising committee of the Primary Club of Australia and the Pacific Sports Diplomacy Network as well as the UNSW Sport Advisory Council. Previously trained in Health Sciences, she owned a complementary medicine clinic for 8 years before beginning her media career at SBS followed by stints with Channel 9, Fox Sports and ABC TV. Stephanie is a contributor for ESPN, World Feed Host for Tennis Australia as well as a football commentator and producer for FIFA TV. An Adjunct Fellow of the Griffith University Business School, she is also a Membership Ambassador for the Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground, an Ambassador and student mentor for both the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation and The Chappell Foundation.

Biography

Jim heads Sport NZ's play, active recreation & sport business unit that supports the sector to ensure more Kiwis, especially children and young people, are physically active. His unit includes Sport NZ’s Sport Development, Education, Play, Active Recreation and Priority Communities teams. He has responsibility for several programmes and funds, including Balance is Better, Healthy Active Learning and Tū Manawa. Originally from Bristol in the UK, Jim joined Sport NZ in 2014 following 7 years as CEO of Equestrian Sports NZ. Prior to that he worked in roles in the university sport system both in the UK and in NZ. Jim has a lifelong passion for his hometown teams - Bristol Rovers, Bristol Bears and Gloucestershire County Cricket Club, as well as the LA Rams (soon to play in Melbourne!)

Biography

Huei Chern joined Sport Singapore in 2012 and has since played a critical role in shaping and driving the organization’s strategic direction. With a background in corporate planning, data transformation, technology, and integrated communications, she has led key initiatives in aligning strategic business objectives with whole-of-government outcomes. As Chief of the Strategy Group, Huei Chern leads efforts to create collaborative systems that drive a unified vision for sport in Singapore. She is responsible for ensuring cross-functional alignment, resource allocation, and data-driven decision-making to support the “Sport As Strategy” agenda under Vision 2030. Her leadership fosters cooperation across different stakeholders, helping to develop a holistic and sustainable sport ecosystem. With over 25 years of experience in the private and public service sectors, Huei Chern is committed to advancing a whole-of-system approach, driving impactful change that contributes to Singapore’s long-term sport vision and success.

Biography

Across the past 30+ years, Richard has volunteered and worked across multiple roles, sports, metro and regional, domestic and international. From cricket to touch football to netball and water polo he has held a wide range of roles including development officer to head and assistant coach roles at club, state and national level, referee, president, high performance manager, national talent manager and CEO before undertaking his current role. He is energised by doing meaningful work that makes a difference to the experience people have with sport, regardless of their role, age, background, location or ability level. He is a system thinker who understands that nothing we do in sport, occurs in isolation and it takes a collaborative, system wide approach to ensure we can ensure sport can provide great experiences for everyone and that sport remains a valued and relevant part of the Australian lifestyle.
