Biography

Scott Rice is the founder and director of Quantum Events and the creator of the Z Manu World Champs—New Zealand’s iconic and fast-growing Manu (bombing) competition. With more than 20 years’ experience delivering large-scale mass participation events, Scott has built a reputation for creating culturally relevant, high-energy experiences that connect deeply with youth and communities. A former New Zealand representative swimmer, he combines sport, entertainment and storytelling to drive engagement both on-site and across digital platforms, with Z Manu now reaching tens of millions globally each year. Scott is passionate about participation, water safety and creating platforms that inspire the next generation, including the “Manu with Mana” initiative focused on Māori and Pacific youth.

Biography

Matt has developed and leads the implementation of the Swim Well Strategy, Australia's community swimming strategy looking to make swimming a safe, vibrant and inclusive sport for all Australians. Alongside this he also holds positions on the Play Well Research, Evaluation & Data Project Group, Australian Water Safety Council and National Aquatic Industry Committee.
