In 2023, Matti was appointed Director of the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS)- the first female to hold the role.
An expert in wellbeing and people management, she has over 20 years of experience working with Australia’s top elite and professional sports at both a strategic and operational level.

Biography
Junior Melo is the Manager of the CMSport program, an initiative of the Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY) dedicated to driving social change through sport.
He holds a degree in Exercise and Sport Science, with a double major in Physical Activity and Health, and Sport Coaching.
Junior brings extensive experience working with young people across diverse settings, including youth justice centres in Malmsbury and Parkville, schools, community centres and sport clubs. He has played a key role in developing and leading social sport and education programs.
Passionate about multicultural inclusion, Junior has worked closely with culturally diverse communities, including newly arrived refugee and migrant young people across Melbourne. A strong advocate for meaningful community engagement, he uses sport as a powerful tool for social connection and empowerment.

Biography
Mark Rigotti is the Managing Director and CEO of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Mark brings a wealth of leadership experience, having previously served for six years as the Global CEO at Herbert Smith Freehills.
In addition to his executive roles, Mark contributes to a range of boards and organisations and currently sits on the board for the AICD, Smartgroup Corporation Limited and the European Australian Business Council. Mark is also the Chair of the Global Network of Director Institutes.
