The Reality of Understanding Which Levers You Can Pull to Impact on Wellbeing and Quality of Life
Biography
I’ve enjoyed 40 years’ experience in the leisure management sector having served my ‘apprenticeship’ as a Lifeguard, Instructor and Duty Manager. After that I enjoyed senior leadership roles as Commercial Director and Group Operations Director for SLM (Everyone Active), Managing Director for mission-led charity Active Nation and Chief Operating Officer for Places Leisure. I’m currently CEO at Stockport Active CIC, a Board Member at GM Active and a Board Advisor to both ActiveXchange and Longevity Network. I’m a Fellow of CIMSPA and have developed a Transformational Leadership Programme for the sport and physical activity sector which I combine with executive leadership coaching. I’m persuasive and challenging of convention and always with a dollop of good humour.
