Sustainability and End of Life Starts at the Planning Stage

Biography

BBus (Accounting & Information Systems), LLB, GradDip CA Trent has over 20 years’ experience in accounting, banking and financial services. He has worked at PwC Australia and EY Australia in accounting and audit roles responsible for the deliverables to customers such as BHP, Wesfarmers and Telstra. The majority of his career was with ANZ as Head of Finance (Esanda) concluding his time as Head of 3rd Party Asset Finance. Trent spent 5years as CFO at Tuff Group where the concept of RE4ORM was born, developed and delivered. Trent’s great-grandfather is credited with being the first Indigenous Australian to play in the Victorian Football League. Trent followed in his footsteps and played several seasons for Fitzroy and the West Coast Eagles.

Understanding How to Impact the Environmental Narrative with Synthetic Surfaces in a Postive Manner

Biography

Martin provides over 40 years’ of extensive sports management, programming, planning knowledge and insights into the management and maintenance of sports fields and facilities in Europe and Australia. These experiences influence the practical approach, understanding the challenges that sports surfaces are facing as we promote the benefits of exercise, recreation and community sport, allowing them to recognise and embrace technology will allow for a greater intensity of use on natural, hybrid, synthetic and hard surfaces. His leadership globally has gained recognition through his commitment to ‘Changing the Narrative’ embracing the concerns of environmentalists and showcasing how good management practice to the planning, design, procurement and management can make a positive impact on the environmental footprint of the parkland and not just the field of play.
