Biography
Alex Anasson is a dynamic sport leader and executive with a strong track record in driving participation, innovation and community-centred strategy within the Australian sport sector. She currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Skate Australia, leading the organisation through a pivotal phase of transformation and growth — championing grassroots engagement, inclusive sport pathways, and strengthened stakeholder partnerships across skate sports and skateboarding nationwide.
Prior to her appointment at Skate Australia, Alex held leadership roles at AusCycling and as General Manager – Sport Services at AusTriathlon, where she played a central role in delivering national participation initiatives, school-based programs and inclusion frameworks designed to broaden access to sport for all Australians. Across her career, she has also contributed to complex organisational reform, national operating model redesign, and improved governance frameworks across federated sport structures.
With a career background in fitness and as an award-winning business owner, Alex brings a strong commercial and customer-centric lens to sport leadership. Her work is defined by a commitment to creating safe, welcoming and diverse sporting environments — underpinned by strategic program design, governance excellence and stakeholder collaboration.
Known for bridging business discipline with purpose-driven sport leadership, Alex is passionate about building modern sporting organisations that are inclusive, resilient, and fit for the future.

Biography
Ridmi migrated from Sri Lanka to Australia at age 11 and is now a Student Support Officer at Monash University and a passionate advocate for gender equality. Currently completing her Master of Public Health at the University of Melbourne, specialising in gender and sexual health, she works to advance legislative and social change so people of all genders, sexualities and nationalities are treated as equals. She also has a love for sport, especially in advancing the rights of women and queer individuals in sport.

Biography
Dr Renae Domaschenz, former Paralympian, is a respected sport leader and governance specialist, serving as Chair of Disability Sports Australia, a director of the WADA Compliance Review Committee, and an trusted advisor for Systems Planning and Analysis (SPA Australia). An alumna of the AIS Athlete Accelerator Program, she blends athlete insight with strategic capability and system‑level thinking.
Her leadership style is defined by bold thinking, innovative problem‑solving, and a willingness to challenge inherited assumptions. Renae pushes to move beyond compliance‑focused oversight toward vision‑driven, impact‑oriented leadership, creating space for curiosity, creativity, and new ideas to take root. She is committed to developing the next generation of leaders who can re-imagine the future of sport with courage, inclusivity, and long‑term sustainability in mind.

Junior Melo is the Manager of the CMSport program, an initiative of the Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY) dedicated to driving social change through sport.
He holds a degree in Exercise and Sport Science, with a double major in Physical Activity and Health, and Sport Coaching.
Junior brings extensive experience working with young people across diverse settings, including youth justice centres in Malmsbury and Parkville, schools, community centres and sport clubs. He has played a key role in developing and leading social sport and education programs.
Passionate about multicultural inclusion, Junior has worked closely with culturally diverse communities, including newly arrived refugee and migrant young people across Melbourne. A strong advocate for meaningful community engagement, he uses sport as a powerful tool for social connection and empowerment.
