Biography

Professor Clare Hanlon, Susan Alberti Women in Sport Chair, Victoria University. Clare is a globally recognized researcher committed to building organizational capacity to advance girls and women as leaders and players in sport. Internationally, she has influenced policy shifts in sport uniforms, strategic shifts in women coaching at Olympic-level, and nationally influenced government infrastructure and systemic shifts to advance equitable access for girls and women. In governance roles, Clare is co-Chair of the AusCycling Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Group, and examples of previous roles include Director, Oceania Gymnastics Union and Director, Gymnastics Australia.

Stuart Hodge is the CEO of Sport NSW and an experienced sport executive with a strong background in strategy, advocacy, governance and sector leadership. He has built a reputation for influencing policy, leading organisational reform and delivering initiatives that strengthen the sporting landscape. Stuart has worked across community and professional sport, with experience spanning participation, facilities, commercial development and stakeholder engagement. He has led major advocacy initiatives, commissioned sector-shaping research and worked closely with government, sporting organisations and industry partners to advance the interests of sport. He is passionate about the power of sport to strengthen communities and is committed to building a more sustainable, inclusive and impactful sport system for the future.

Biography

Reuben is the Founder of SportsGrad and an advocate for victims of sexual violence. When COVID cost him his dream job on Cricket Australia's commercial team, he ironically launched SportsGrad to help others land their dream job in sport, starting with The SportsGrad Podcast, which hit #1 on the 'Careers' charts. Around the same time, he also experienced assault by a colleague, and after 6 years of pursuing justice, now uses his voice to advocate for other victim-survivors.
